We have been so busy here at school finishing up our apple unit. The students really loved all the food activities and I appreciate all of your support with the various apple donations. It was so sweet to see them make their apple pies and write the book to go with it. The apple tasting party was a hit of course, just because we had so many different options for the students to try.
Our Freedom Walk was a hit! The kids did a great job walking around JPS and BITZ. Thank you to all the parents who joined us and a BIG thank you to the men and women who keep our country safe.

The first few weeks at school have been so much fun! We have learned a lot about one another working on "About Me" projects. Below are a few pictures from our "About Me Bag" sharing. We have also been getting into our math and reading workshop where we have mini-lessons covering specific standards and then we go to stations to support math and reading. You'll see some pictures of some different stations we started off with just to get our toes wet. Playdough fun!
